Our Volunteers

Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

Through their time, compassion, and dedication, they help us provide essential resources to individuals in recovery—offering real support when it matters most. Whether assisting at events, reviewing applications, or delivering resources directly to those in need, their impact is felt every single day.

We are incredibly grateful for the individuals who choose to give back and stand alongside us in this mission.

Vinny (left) and Gina (right) have supported Matt’s Homestead for years and began volunteering in 2025. They review applications, assess need, and deliver resources directly to individuals—making a meaningful impact through their compassion and dedication.

Helping with Matt’s Homestead has been a reminder that helping others doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. A lot of times, we don’t realize how much support is truly needed or we assume making a difference is outside of what we can offer. But even the simplest things of showing up and contributing can have a real impact. Helping out has been incredibly rewarding and continues to show how powerful it is when people come together to support those in need. Thank you ❤️

I began working with Matt’s Homestead since the initial formation of this wonderful organization. Over the years, I have seen this group work tirelessly to provide assistance to those in need, while beginning their journey of recovery. Every year it seems to grow bigger and better, well serving so many people in its path.

I began volunteering with Matt’s Homestead in 2020 while looking for a meaningful way to give back to others in recovery. Since then, the experience has been nothing short of incredible. I started by connecting directly with applicants and helping approved individuals receive the supplies and support they needed. After several years in that role, I transitioned into a position where I’m still able to support individuals directly, but on a larger scale.

Being part of an organization dedicated to helping people in need is truly special. I’ve witnessed countless moments of genuine gratitude and seen the impact this support can have on someone’s life. Volunteering with Matt’s Homestead has become an essential part of both my life and my recovery journey. I deeply believe in the mission and meaning behind this organization.
